Riser.
Collective housing.
Product introduction.
Riser is defined as an assembly of vertical elements that extends from one the floor level to the next for the purpose of conducting low pressure or medium pressure gas to all the floors in an apartment building.
All these elements are connected to G4-type meters designed for individual gas consumers (maximum gas flow 6m3/h).
New buildings supplied with Natural Gas (or Propane network) can be equipped with these copper pipes prefabricated at the plant according to the ATG B.600 requirements.

Complies with ATG B600.
GRDF requires that the production of the riser-pipe storey elements be carried out only in a fixed prefabrication workshop previously authorized for use and in accordance with the specifications of ATG B600.
These technical specifications are made compulsory by the order of July 15, 1980 as amended and are intended to define the provisions to which the prefabricated elements must meet, that is to say the elements assembled permanently, made in a fixed prefabrication workshop, excluding site workshops. ATG B600 sets out the manufacturer's obligations in terms of manufacturing and testing.
BANIDES puts all its know-how in the realization of risers:
● Personnel carrying out the assemblies holding a certificate of professional competence, specific to the assembly method concerned;
● Tightness of each stage element tested in the factory, in air under water at a pressure of 6 bar;
● Packaging and delivery in wooden crates with their components: Cu / Cu sleeves or tees, T202 marker plates (one per connection), instruction plates (one per floor element).
Sizing.
● The diameter of the riser depends on the distance from the connection box, the number of floors, the number of taps and meters as well as the level of comfort required (one, two or three uses: heating, hot water sanitary, cooking).
● The sizes usually used and authorized by GRDF are:
DN 25 - Cu 28 for 1 to 5 nozzles
DN 32 - Cu 35 for 1 to 10 nozzles
DN 50 - Cu 54 for 1 to 10 nozzles
Manufacturing.
● A storey element can have up to 5 nozzles.
● The nozzles are located on the same side and their axis must be positioned in the same plane.
● The different assembly methods allow the installation of 1 to 10 meters per floor element depending on whether the tapping (s) are associated with simple 90 ° elbows or with feeders.
● The double feeders are delivered unassembled. On request, they can be delivered assembled.
